QC inspector • Gregory County, South Dakota

Join our team: we are hiring a QC inspector in Gregory County, South Dakota. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line You should have: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
