Gas commissioning technician — Nelson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Nelson County, North Dakota. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On the job you will handle: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
