Gas pipeline fitter — Derbyshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Derbyshire, England. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion You will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
