Vacancy available: AC mechanic (Missouri)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Monroe County, Missouri. The job is at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving Ideal candidate: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
