Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Decatur County, Tennessee. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day to day you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
