Vacancy available: tig welder (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Borough of Tameside, England. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE On a typical shift you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
