Gas metal arc welder wanted in Outagamie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Outagamie County, Wisconsin. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
