Kitchen steward — Southampton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Southampton County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts Day to day you will scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
