Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat cutter in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a supermarket meat department. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate On a typical shift you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools.
