Gardener — Jefferson Davis Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a gardener in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Full-time with occasional weekends.
