Elevator service technician wanted in Ingham County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Ingham County, Michigan. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs 4+ years on the tools preferred.
