Floor and wall tile fitter — Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Washington County, Minnesota. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Day-to-day duties: • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
