Metal caster wanted in Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Washington County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
