Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Curry County, Oregon. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
