Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Logan County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
