Now hiring: we are hiring a wall and floor tiler in Henderson County, North Carolina. The job is in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits You should have: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
