On a typical shift you will road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; estimate repair costs and order the right parts; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid. What we are looking for: • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
