Join our team: we are hiring a beldar in Floyd County, Iowa. You will be based on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain The role involves: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
