Now hiring: reinforcement fitter (Montana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Mineral County, Montana. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
