Argon arc welder • Albany County, New York

Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Albany County, New York. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
