Urgent requirement: ladle pourer (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Clarke County, Virginia. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale.
