Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Young County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Full-time, day shift.
