Metal caster — Ondo West

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Ondo West, Ondo State. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
