Waiter — City of Martinsville

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a waiter in City of Martinsville, Virginia. You will work in a five-star hotel. On a typical shift you will lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; upsell starters, desserts and beverages; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad. You should have: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
