The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Six days a week, one day off.
