Now hiring: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska. Requirements: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio The role involves: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns 4+ years on the tools preferred.
