Now hiring: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Borough of Bury, England. You will work in a busy paint shop. The role involves: • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
