Gang bricklayer — Gooding County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Gooding County, Idaho. The job is at a residential building site. The role involves: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
