Garment presser — Price County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Price County, Wisconsin. The job is at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day-to-day duties: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
