Offshore rigger wanted in Livingston County

Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Livingston County, Kentucky. You will work at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
