Urgent requirement: nursery worker (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Lee County, North Carolina. The job is in a residential garden complex. The role involves cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits.
