Fabricator-welder wanted in Rutland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Rutland County, Vermont. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Part-time with flexible hours.
