Concrete shuttering carpenter • Essex County, New Jersey

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Essex County, New Jersey. Your main tasks: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Pay around $190 per day, based on your experience.
