Great opportunity: we are hiring a container truck driver in Colquitt County, Georgia. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience The role involves: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
