Aluminium workshop fabricator • Scott County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium workshop fabricator in Scott County, Iowa. You will work at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads What we are looking for: • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes Meals and transport allowance provided.
