On a typical shift you will carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; estimate repair costs and order the right parts. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals Rotating shifts.
