Refrigeration field service technician — Charles City County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Charles City County, Virginia. The job is in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Day-to-day duties: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system 5+ years on the tools preferred. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
