AC and fridge repair technician • Jackson County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring an AC and fridge repair technician in Jackson County, Iowa. You will be based in an HVAC service company. On a typical shift you will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter. What we are looking for: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
