Great opportunity: we are hiring a catering cook in Fermanagh and Omagh, Northern Ireland. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Requirements: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat The role involves check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks.
