Catering cook — Harlan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a catering cook in Harlan County, Kentucky. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. The role involves marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. What we are looking for: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
