Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in City of Winchester, Virginia. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine The role involves: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
