We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On the job you will handle: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $20 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
