Reinforcement steel fixer • Long County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Long County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
