Lift erector — Kalkaska County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift erector in Kalkaska County, Michigan. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. The role involves rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; run load and overload tests with test weights; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
