Immediate opening: banksman (Oklahoma)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Osage County, Oklahoma. The job is at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
