Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Harrison County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade The role involves: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
