Elevator technician • Attala County, Mississippi

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Attala County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
