Light vehicle driver — Borough of Thurrock

Great opportunity: we are hiring a light vehicle driver in Borough of Thurrock, England. You will be based at a delivery and dispatch hub. You should have: • Valid Class B / LMV driving licence • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations • Minimum 2 years of accident-free driving experience Day to day you will load and unload parcels and secure the load with straps and ropes; handle cash on delivery and reconcile the day's collections; report accidents, breakdowns and vehicle damage to the supervisor; top up engine oil, coolant and washer fluid as needed; arrange routine servicing and renew insurance and PUC documents; follow loading sequence so first-drop parcels stay within reach. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer £2,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
