We are recruiting: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Liverpool, England. Day to day you will strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code. Requirements: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Able to read and match factory paint codes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
