We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Rio Grande County, Colorado. You will work on a quarry floor. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant The role involves spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels.
